#notetoself It’s ok to be in process. To not be perfect, or have the answers or clarity you seek yet. Healing and transformation is a process. It’s often confusing, painful, and messy. But if you keep leaning into the discomfort and looking for the breakthrough, you will eventually find it. In perfect and divine time. TRUST THE PROCESS and DO THE WORK. It’s also ok to take breaks from the healing and reflection work. But as soon as you’re ready, get back to it. .

This Eclipse season is providing you with a rare doorway of opportunity to uncover and heal core wounds/patterns that have been hidden in your subconscious (and sneakily creating blocks and suffering for you) for years!

But these deep healing doorways won’t remain open indefinitely. My guess is once this full moon cycle ends and Mercury goes direct (in about 2 weeks), the opportunities to do this deep work quickly will lessen (for now). Which means you’ll feel lighter and less triggered (yay!), and you'll feel the renewed motivation to move forward towards your goals once again. But the inner work you do now, will determine your level of success and growth towards those goals/desires for the rest of the year.

So if you have been feeling really triggered lately, do yourself a favor and MAKE THE TIME AND SPACE to do this work now (aka. Make time for meditation, reflection, and spiritual practice).

How are you? Seriously, stop scrolling for a second, take a mindful breath, and really ask yourself, “How am I?”.

Summer can be a really hectic time. And many people are so busy trying to keep up with everything, that they don't even realize when they're falling out of balance or on the verge of a breakdown/ burn-out!
.
.
Not to mention, we're smack in the middle of Eclipse Season AND Mercury just went retrograde...which means that if you're not staying mindful and grounded, sh*t could really start hitting the fan for you (if it hasn't already)!
.
.
So I ask again, HOW ARE YOU?

If you just realized you've been struggling to stay grounded, or you've been experiencing a lot of mental and emotional turbulence (like sooo many people I've been hearing from lately), MEDITATION will be your best friend right now!

It has felt extra challenging to stay positive and not get stuck in a “dark” or victim mindset this month. But since Eclipse Season is all about growth through challenges, I expected this, and so I made sure to prepare myself to skillfully manage those disempowering thoughts and emotions when they arise this month (and not get suffocated by them!)

One of my favorite tools lately has been the reflection question, “What does this make possible?” .
.
Over the past couple weeks I’ve been processing through some heavy (disempowering) thoughts and emotions left over from a breakup in March. When I caught myself stuck there, I asked “but what does this breakup make possible for me?”. And pretty immediately the thoughts and energy shifted to a much more empowered space! Yesterday (on the first day of Mercury Retrograde 🙄) I had a difficult conversation and got some “bad” news. Again, my first reaction was to go to the “poor me/this sucks” space. And again, I remembered my reflection question and was able to reframe the situation to see how this “bad” news could actually be a powerful opportunity for me (if I was willing take advantage of it in that way)!

.
So the next time you find yourself falling into that “poor me/why me/ this sucks” mindset this month.... I invite you to ask yourself, “What does this make possible for me now?” And in many cases, you’ll see that the challenge is actually providing you the opportunity to do the powerful healing/up-leveling work of Eclipse Season!

Do you agree? I feel like I can get a billion new ideas and feel really excited about them!! I’ll start talking about the ideas, take steps to create them, reach out to people to collaborate with on them....and then the overwhelm sets in! I’ve got to constantly remind myself that an idea (or many ideas) without a plan can lead to overwhelm.... + it’s not always the right time to do things....+ there’s no harm in shelving things for later. And this is ESPECIALLY TRUE DURING ECLIPSE SEASON (which we’re in for the month!). Now is more about staying mindful and doing healing/releasing work around old patterns in life that have kept you from moving forward in certain areas of your life. Instead of actively pushing forward towards new things, sit back and witness what is being triggered in your life. And then investigate what needs to be healed/aligned/released/transformed there! This will take a lot of mindfulness, reflection, and self-compassion but the growth potential in this next month is profound ✨✨✨ #staymindfulfriends #eclipseseason

The calm before the storm. I had such a peaceful, grounding, and inspiring evening at @murrayhidary ‘s @mindtravelmusic experience last night. As I gear up for the astrologically and energetically intense month ahead, I’m making sure to keep my tool kit of meditation, reflection, and self-care practices fully stocked (and close by)! And last night’s event helped create the space to set those pre-eclipse intentions and reconnect to my tools. Murray will be back in #asburypark again at the end of August, so give him a follow to find out when the date is announced. I highly recommend this musical, meditative experience. Anyone else feeling like it’s been so much harder to stay grounded and focused lately?! 😳Welcome to Summer!! Lol.

This is actually really common during the fiery Summer season (which I’ll explain more in our Summer Wellness Guide coming next week 🙌). And it’s also common to neglect your meditation and self-care practices during the busy Summer months. But this is a bad idea! .
Summer is actually the most important season NOT to skip your practice. There’s even a saying, “You should sit in meditation for 20 minutes a day. Unless you're too busy, then you should sit for an hour.” Which basically means when you’re busy, you’ll need the benefits of meditation even more!
.
So I’ll be recommitting to my meditation practice and adjusting it to support me through these busier Summer months. Scenes from last night’s @babesinbusinessnj event! I remember going to my first few babes events a few years ago, and feeling super nervous and shy at the thought of trying to connect with a room full of new women 😳 ( #introvertproblems ). But I pushed myself to a few events even though I felt uncomfortable, focused on getting to know the first 1-2 women I organically connected with, and then the other connections and confidence to mingle more flowed from there! Now I can’t wait for these events every other month!
